PITCH PROPOSAL

I had the opportunity to work with two other students in creating a new marketing strategy for CrossFit. We conducted extensive research into a missed opportunity to engage with a new client base and build upon the already successful brand. We formulated a very detailed plan that involved budgeting/expense aspects, new marketing material and how and where it could be advertised, a schedule for marketing criteria for a year, and the reason and the need to market to our identified new client base.

CONTENT STRATEGY

Technology: Microsoft Word

The focus for this assignment was to determine the audience, social media presence, competitors, company challenges, and find an innovative way in which Nylon Magazine could stay ahead of the competition. I determined the missed opportunities that could place Nylon Magazine in a stronger position within their industry. This was also an opportunity to practice document layouts, pull-out quotes, and visual design.

WEB ANALYSIS

Technology: Microsoft Word

I produced a comprehensive analysis of Nylon Magazine's writing quality, visual and media content, layout and organization, and known competitors. I learned what makes Nylon Magazine successful with a diverse audience and what makes them successful in the digital publication industry.
